Daryle, originally from Orangeburg South Carolina has lived in Columbia all of his adult life currently living on Lake Murray in Irmo. After attending the University of South Carolina, Daryle served for four years in the US Navy aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Ranger.

Daryle began his career in finance in 1983 with a national finance company moving on to South Carolina National Bank (now Wachovia). In 1998 he co founded Express Mortgage Corp in Columbia eventually becoming its sole owner selling the company in 2008. Along with Bob Bacon he has now co founded Carolina First Mortgage. He has twenty six years of lending experience and has assisted many people in buying and re-financing their home.

He enjoys boating with his family on Lake Murray, Golf and Carolina Football. He is a member of the Jamil Shrine Center and past President of the Jamil Choo Choos volunteering time to ride children on their train and raising tens of thousands of dollars annually for burned and crippled children. He is also a member of the Lake Murray Association.
