Bob Bacon was raised in New Jersey for 24 years before moving to the Columbia, SC area in 1989.  After attending Villanova University in Philadelphia, he went to work with Fleet Finance Company.  It was here that he learned how to help borrowers find the loan product that best fits their needs and to make good lending decisions. 

This was followed by a branch manager position with The Money Store.  He was the co-owner of Express Mortgage and sole owner of Carolina Equitable Mortgage both in West Columbia. 

Along with Daryle O’Cain, he is a partner in Carolina First Mortgage.  He has over 20 years lending experience and has helped hundreds of people achieve the dream of home ownership.  

Bob coaches baseball at Cayce-West Columbia Dixie Youth Baseball at Howard Park.  He enjoys all things Gamecock and NY Yankees.  He is married to Sarah Barrett a real estate agent with Exit Realty in Lexington, SC.  He is the proud father of four children.
